His criticism doesn't clearly state that the the Ohio media has been at the forefront on the Marc Dann story. That is a larger omission than Dann's party affiliation. It is nearly a libel to imply that the press has covered up for Dann. In fact, the press has exposed the shenanigans, and it has been quite aggressive in doing so. Tom Blumer at Bizzyblog is trying to make it look like the media is pulling punches. He contends the partisan ID outweighs other considerations -- or is a key fact -- when writing about elected officials. I say party ID is important, but not as important as the conduct of the officeholder and the overall content of the story. The fact that reporters are writing stories that have Marc Dann on the hot seat outweighs any D or R they may, or may not, put into the stories. Is anyone foolish enough to believe that the Democrats are taking joy in the fact that some news stories omit Marc Dann's party affiliation?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12712163977315292252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37877540.post-82583795465089814032008-04-20T15:54:00.000-04:002008-04-20T15:54:00.000-04:00Bill --Thanks for taking on the fraudulent Tom Blu...Bill --

Thanks for taking on the fraudulent Tom Blumer.
