CINCINNATI (TDB) -- Incoming Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland has a MySpace.com account and an admirer has written him a message wondering if might have a TV series tie. She asks if many people think the new guv looks like a character who works alongside good guy Jack Bauer on the popular Fox network show 24.
Vicky of Dublin wants to know: "Has anyone ever told you that you look like Agent Pierce from 24?"

Inquiring minds can decide on their own if there is any resemblance.
Glenn Morshower, the actor who plays Agent Pierce, has built his career by portraying law enforcement and military figures, and worked for a time in the TV White House of fictional President Jed Bartlet on NBC's The West Wing. There is a good deal of information about Morshower on the Web but nothing about whether he has politically prominent twin in Ohio.
As for "Vicky" who asked the question, we don't know much about her except she's a 24-year-old Ohio State University fan. The Buckeyes are national championship bound, she says.
There are too many important events going on in this world to mention. You write about someone who maybe looks similar to the govenor elect. I know this is your blog and you write what you want. It seems that if you want inspire people into action, you would write about something we care about. Frankly, I do not care if some actor looks like Strickland!
