CLEVELAND (TDB) -- But they are among the Top 30. And Cincinnati is rated the worst time-drainer among the state's big cities. Of course, the Cincinnati airport is actually in Kentucky. Consumerist has the list. Chicago's O'Hare is ranked as the place where time just doesn't fly.
Cincinnati is 24, Columbus is 28 and Cleveland is 30. For weather related delays, Cincinnati is No. 2 in the U.S. That's a surprise, because Cleveland on Lake Erie is famed for its severe weather, especially in winter. But it is in 25th place for weather-related delays.
I havent had a major problem at CLE with delays, but given the choice I will always go to CAK. So much easier in and out

ReplyDeleteWhere can you go from CAK (Canton/Akron)? Are there a lot of destinations available? I thought it was kind of rinky dink, but perhaps the impression I am under is incorrect. In Cincinnati, it is not unusual for people to go to Dayton or Louisville or Indianapolis to find flights with somewhat reasonable prices. Delta's fare structure and near stranglehold at the Cincy airport -- a Delta hub -- has pushed ticket prices into the stratosphere.
