Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper Joins Blogosphere: The Democrat's 'Pep Talk' Is A Week Old

CINCINNATI (TDB) -- Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper has been blogging for the past week. He's a lawyer who's been in elected offices at the city and county level since 2001, and his dad, John, is a former CEO of Procter & Gamble Co. David Pepper, who defeated Republican Phil Heimlich for the commission seat in 2006, says he named his new blog PepTalk because he's innately upbeat about the future of the Cincinnati area. (Hmm. It really has nothing to do with his surname being Pepper? Good thing he isn't a Breastheimer):

"I call it PepTalk because amid all our challenges and hurdles, not to mention the ups and downs of politics, I am an optimist about our great community. With our wonderful assets, citizens and traditions, our best days are ahead of us -- and I hope the discussions on this blog will help lead us in that positive direction."
