CINCINNATI (TDB) -- The Federal Election Commission has released Mitt Romney's 47-page financial disclosure statement. A complete version of the document is available here, and it shows assets the Republican presidential candidate holds, and others he has sold recently. It's a microscope into his reported $250 million personal fortune, and should be of interest to Republicans and Democrats alike.
A quick search discloses Romney has invested in Ohio companies including Cleveland's Forest City Enterprises and Cincinnati's Fifth Third, Macy's Inc. and Cintas Corp. He also put money into petroleum and natural gas interests, including Gazprom, the Russian producer. Romney's funds were in a blind trust. He made $15,000 to $50,000 in dividends on the Forest City holdings.
